Zonal level inter-school competitions of Reasi: HS Kambal Danga, GHSS Reasi win volleyball finals

Government High School Kambal Danga and Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Reasi excelled by winning under-17 and under-14 volleyball finals respectively in the inter-school zonal level competitions of Reasi held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Zorawar Singh Sports Complex, here today.
In under-17 final, GHS Kambal Danga defeated Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) in straight 2-0 (25-21, 25-17) sets. Similarly, in under-14 category, GHSS Reasi outplayed Amba Kids Panthal 2-0 (25-16, 25-21).
Meanwhile, in inter-school girls Kabaddi meet, GGHSS Reasi outplayed GHS Katra by six (13-06) points in final. The under-14 title went to Middle School Agarballian, who beat Amba Kids Panthal by five (24-19) points.
In Kho-Kho, the under-17 title went to GHSS Reasi beating HS Sirla Bhaga by four (10-06) points while the under-17 final was won by MS Agar Balian, who beat MS Gran 09-07.
District Officer (DYSS), Romesh Chander Mishra was Chief Guest in the final, who encouraged the participants and appreciated them for the competitive spirit.
Vote of thanks was presented by ZPEO Reasi, Chiter Lekha.
The matches were officiated by the technical panel including Ashoka Kumari, Jagdev Singh, Naresh Kumar, Rakesh Sharma, Ajay Wadhera, Goutam Koundal, Avinash, Shamim Akhtera and Mohd Riaz.
