Yuwa:2019 Laureus sports awards

Laureus sports awards won by Yuwa, a Jharkhand based NGO on Sunday eve, Yuwa became the 3rd Indian entry to bag the honour. Americanc Franz Gastler and Rose Thomson Gastler founded the NGO in 2009 it runs the football program in rural Jharkhand covering 450 girls. 4 girls received the award on behalf of Yuwa at The Laureus World Sports Awards on Monday.
Arsene Wenger the aces footballer play with girls after the announcement on Sunday. He said “ they are good technically and want to play together. We used to say football is a sport played by 11 selfish individuals but they play like a team and are highly motivated.”
