YCC Kalani registers 5-wkt win in Poonch tourney

The YCC Kalani defeated Diwan Riders by five wickets to enter the second round of the District Cricket Tournament being held under the banner of J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) at Sports Stadium, here on Thursday.
Earlier, Diwan Riders lost all the wickets for 114 runs in 21 overs of the 40 overs a side match. Sajid and Aftab were main scorers with 30 and 31 runs respectively. For YCC, Sajid took three wickets while Altaf bagged two.
In reply, YCC Kamali chased the target of 115 runs in 18.1 overs with five wickets in hand. Vivek played fine innings of 50 runs while Javid and Adnan contributed 21 and 17 runs respectively.
Today’s match was officiated by the technical panel including Rajinder Singh Toofan, Sanjay Misri and Amandeep Sharma.
