Yashwardhan lands Golden punch

Gurugram’s Yashwardhan landed a Golden punch at Sub-Junior Boys national boxing championship which recently concluded in Rohatak. In final Yashwardhan was choosen unanimously by 5-0 decision against Manipur’s Chinzmay in 55-58 kg weight category. With this victory, Yashwardhan is now also a part of Indian boxing camp. Coach Dharam Veer Singh told that he is selected for Asian Boxing Championship which is to be held in Kuwait.

Boxing coach Vijay Gaura told Yashwardhan is also a 4 time state champion(Haryana) along with a silver medal in Khelo India Games and Gold in Under-17 National school games.

Yashwardhan coach and District Boxing Association chairperson Bheem Singh Thakran congrulated his pupil and wished him best of luck for future. Chairperson of DGP Boxing club chairperson Arun Dagar also congratulated Yash of this achievement by him. Yash father Satyajeet Singh added that his son hard work is the catalyst to his success.
