World Number One Kidambi Srikanth settles for silver

Kidambi Srikanth fought long and hard in a tense 3 set final here on the last day of the Gold Coast Games. But it was Malaysian Lee Chong Wei who prevailed in the end 19-21, 21-14, 21-14 to win gold in men’s singles.
It was the Malaysian’s 3 consecutive Gold medal at the Games, repeating his heroics from Delhi and Glasgow. The World Number One will settle for Silver.
