Women T20: Assam and Gujarat wins

Assam defeated Gujarat by 21 runs in the Senior Women T20 Cricket held at Guntur. Elected to bat first, Assam scored 143-8 in their 20 overs. Ruhina Pegu (37) was the highest scorer and Monika Das contributed 34 on the board. Later they restricted Gujarat to 122-8. Rashmi Dey picked up 3-29. Monikha Das and Genevie Pando bagged two wickets each.
The second match of the group which was held at RVR & JC college ground. Gujarat made 152 runs losing 4 wickets with contributions from Haniben Mukeshbhai Patel 37 (22) and Sarvi Ashwin Kumar 36 (33). In reply, Bihar could only make 63 runs while getting all out. Toral Dalpatbhai Patel of Gujarat took 3 wickets.
