Vishwa Bharti reached semifinals in Gaurs School Cricket League

Today there was an interesting match between Vishwa Bharti and Amity International, Amity won the toss and invited Vishwa Bharti to bat.
Vishwa Bharti didn’t start very well, lost quick wickets. Middle order batsman supported their team and Vishwa Bharti scored 119 for 8 in 20 overs. Ankit Rai scored 35, Durgesh bhat scored 24 and Siddhart Jeph scored 20 runs. Suyash Khosla took 4 wickets and Ramit took two wickets.
Amity international started theirs case of 120 runs, but their openers couldn’t stay long. They lost initial 3 wickets quickly. Dev Khaneja scored 24 and Utkarsh scored 19, Rest of the batsman couldn’t make any impact and Amity scored only 85 in 20 overs. Abhinav Bisht took 4 wickets and Ankit took 2 wickets.
Vishwa Bharti won the match by 34 runs and they secured their place in the semifinal.
Ankit Rai was declared man of the match.
