Vishwa Bharti and Amity School emerges as winning teams

On occasion of death anniversary of Captain Shashikant Sharma, Ghaziabad region’s Mayor inaugurated the 17th edition of Inter School Cricket Tournament. The first match of the tournament offered equal opportunities to Vishwa Bharti School team and Karl Huber School team.
Karl Huber team after winning the toss decided to bowl first in the match. Vishwa Bharti School scored 86 runs losing 7 wickets in the first inning of the match.
Karl Huber team tried their best to win the match but were able to score just 70 runs in the duration of the match with lost of 9 wickets. Tanishk Sharma was accredited with ‘Man of the Match’ title for showing all round performance.
In the second match of the day, DAV School and Amity School locked horns against each other. DAV team batted first in the match and scored 79 runs total with lost of 9 wickets. Amity team with good batting line-up formed easy win in the match with 6 wickets in hand. Urvaj Kumar was chosen as the Man of the Match for the second match of the day.
Dr Naresh Sharma, Naivaidh Sharma, Flight Lieutenant J.P Sharma were the special guest of the day for the cricket tournament.
