Undefeated professional boxer Vijender Singh will take on West African champion Ernest Amuzu to defend his WBO Asia Pacific and Oriental super middleweight titles at Jaipur on December 23.
Vijender, who defeated China’s Zulpikar Maimaitiali to win the Oriental title in August, has secured nine wins, including seven knockouts and two unanimous decisions.
The 32-year-old Indian, who is placed ninth in the WBO rankings, said: “I am training hard for the last two months and still have three weeks to go for my next fight. Looking forward for a victory in the third title fight in a row.”
Amuzu, the 34-year-old boxer from Ghana, has 23 wins under his belt, including 21 knockouts, of 25 fights.
