Victor Jaipur badminton comes to an end

YoGems-VICTOR Jaipur Open Badminton Championship 2019 reached its concluding day on Sunday, 17th November. The digital scoring oriented ‘Paperless’ tourney received participation from approx 300 students which were representing around 80+ schools of Jaipur region during the course of 2 day tourney. This tournament was being held at Jaipur Sports Academy, D-123-124, Kewat Marg, D- Block, Vaishali Nagar and was opened for both Boys and Girls in singles age group category of U9, U11, U13, U15 & U17. In addition to this men’s singles and doubles were also been played at Jaipur Sports Academy.
Final day of the tourney saw some exciting match ups as in first title clash of the day in Boys Singles U15 Satwik Awasthi was declared winner after Chirag Khandelwal of Seedling Modern High School conceded the match without even participating.
In Girls singles U11 final Somyaa Bhatnagar of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan defeated Joel Rana in a one-sided final clash by 21-9, 21-12 . Same thing happened in Girls singles U17 as Anushka Maheswari came to the top without even breaking some sweat over Manisha Choudhary of Akashdeep Public School by 21-16, 21-13.
In Boys singles U9 summit clash Mana Sharma was unable to put any challenge to Anshuman Choudhary, as later came victorious by 21-10, 21-14.
In girls singles Under 15 final Anushka Maheswari dusted Advika Verma of Delhi Public School in a 3 set thriller by 21-18, 18-21, 21-17. This was the second Gold for Anushka Maheswari in this Championship.
In another one sided show in Boys Singles U11 summit clash Arnav Sharma of Gyan Deep Public School trounced his opponent, Anshuman Choudhary by 21-6, 21-9 in a proper one sided fashion.
In heated match up of Boys U17, clash of Harshit Gupta and Saurabh Upadhyay of Army public school lived upto the hype as the summit clash went to a three set thriller in which Harshit defeated Saurabh of Army Public School by 14-21, 21-12, 21-18. In Boys U13 Final Ishmeet Wadhawan properly annihilated any challenge of Shrey Koolwal of MPS International by 21-9, 21-12.
In much anticipated Men singles final Yug Sain came to the top by defeating Arnav Goswami of St. George College in straight sets by 23-21, 21-18.
All winners were presented with Trophies, Medals, Gifts from Sponsors i.e Victor and certificates. All these honors were given to winners and runners-up in the presence of YoGems co-founder and CTO, Puneet Mathur.
