Uttrakhand team claims 4 silver in Badminton Tournament

PNB Junior Badminton Championship’s final and semi-final matches finally marks completion in the Delhi’s Thyagraj Stadium. In the final of the matches, Uttrakhand emerges as a strong team and collected total 4 silver medal along with 1 silver medal in the tournament.
Uttrakhand Badminton Association’s Secretary B.S Mankoti in his talk with media has mentioned that Shivam Mehta from Almora in U 15 category finds winning spot and semi final ticket in the match against Anuratha Nadulkar. Later in the semi-final match the player outshines in the semi final match against Akshat Reddy in the semifinal. At last he settled for silver in the final match of the tournament against Dev Maheshwari.
Mansa Rawat, the other progressive player of the Uttrakhand team claimed win in quarter final and semi final match in U 13 category matches. Unfortunately she failed to surpass Muskan Sangwan’s challenge in the final and settled for silver.
Mansa Rawat in U 15 category showcased marvelous game against Shrestha reddy but in the final match surfaced on the losing side against Meghna Reddy in the final match. Dehradun’s Anushka Juyal wins bronze medal and Ishank Negi claimed silver medal in the tournament.
All the winners got an opportunity to collect their medal from Badminton Star Prakash Padukone on the final day of the event.
