UP State junior boxing championship at Mahamaya Stadium

State junior boxing championship organised by the district sports association marches towards the end at Mahamaya Stadium. Prayagraj Mandal boxers clearly dominated this boxing event as their boxers cruised into 1st place in 4 categories which was more than any other mandals.
In 49kg category Meerut Mandal’s Karan Khushwaha, Agra Mandal’s Manish Rathore, Varanasi Mandal’s Bhishm Pratap Sahi, Lucknow Mandal’s Vikash Singh, Pryagraj Mandal’s Vaibhav Kaiservani and Gorakhpur Mandal’s Jagarnath Yadav reigned supreme in their respective matches.
In the 52kg weight category Prayagraj Mandal’s Atul Yadav, Lucknow Mandal’s Ashok Kumar Yadav, Gorakhpur Mandal’s Nitesh Kumar Patel, Merrut Mandal’s Javed cruised into the next rounds.
In the 56Kg weight category Aligarh Mandal’s Arjun Yadav, Saharanpur Mandal’s Aakash Pundir, Prayagraj Mandal’s Apun Yadav, Agra Mandal’s Shivam Rajput and Lucknow Mandal’s Amit Kumar grabbed the win.
