Underprivileged children made their way to Queens Park Rangers Football Club’s youth academy at London

Sagar Rathod and Aditi Pandire 13 year old achieved the trip of London on the basis of their talent and passion for football. Sagar and Aditi are among 4 teenagers who were shortlisted on 5th April, to receive training at London-based Queens Park Rangers Football Club’s youth academy for 10 days time period in the month of October as part of the South Mumbai Junior Soccer Challenge which was an initiative by politician Milind Deora.

Yohan Poonawala of Bombay International, Babulnath and Nishka Prakash of Edubridge International, Grant Road are two other players. Sagar is a class-8 student of Colaba Municipal School. The striker is a resident of Ambedkar Nagar slums in Colaba and his father Gopal is a construction site worker. Aditi is a student class-7 of Sai Baba Path Mumbai Public School, Lalbaug said “I want to make a career in football and play for India”. Aditi’s father Milind is a cab driver.
