Under-14 state level chess competition: Kush wins Gold

Kush Dogra from Ram Lal Bhasin Public School, Dugri, has won the gold medal at a state-level chess competition and has been selected for the national meet. The competition was held at Shri Harkrishan Sahib Public School, Amritsar. At the state-level yoga competition held in Chandigarh, a student in the under-14 category got second prize. Harpreet Singh and Ishwardeep Singh got selected for a national meet.
Sacred Heartians excel in boxing: Students of Sacred Heart Convent Sr. Sec. School, Khanna, have excelled in the Tandarust Punjab District-level Boxing Competition organised by the Punjab Sports Department at Samrala. Three Students of Class IX, Bhumi Verma, Arshpreet Bhatti and Jaskirat Singh, bagged gold medals in the U-18 category while Vispy Sunder and Harshdeep Singh of Class XI clinched silver each in the U-18 boxing category.
