U.K Police candidate Anuj excels in Air Rifle Shooting

Anuj Semwal of Uttrakhand Police Unit has showcased great sort of performance on Day 2 of the North Zone Shooting Competition scheduled in the Jaspal Rana Shooting Range of Pondha, Dehradun.
In the men’s round of 10m air rifle shooting, Anuj claimed mammoth lead of 595 points in the mains round.
In junior women round Yashashvi Joshi of Uttrakhand region clinched the top position in the competition. In the round played on Thursday, Yashashvi claimed total 564 points to aim for the top spot in the competition.
50m Prone Rifle event named Jitendra at the top spot with total 581 points. Total 5,000 shooters from different part of the district have registered themselves for the Air Rifle Shooting.
On the basis of performances of these players, National level team for the shooting event will be published later.
