U-14 district basketball championship: Greater Valley roll past Somerville by 27-1

At the first day of Under-14 district basketball championship total of five matches were played. The championship is being held at Ramagya School, Sector-50. Competition is being attended by Mayur School, Lotus Valley School, DPS, Ryan International, Greater Valley school and other 32 teams.
Competition was inaugurated by Ramagya School principal Aparna Maggy. Opening match of the tournament was played in Girls category between Mayur School, Noida and Greater Valley School, Greater Noida. In this match girls from Mayur defeated Greater Valley by 13- 7. In another match DPS Noida defeated Father Agnel School by a margin of 16-10.
Ryan International School, Noida defeated Lotus Valley School, Greater Noida by the narrow margin of 18-13.
In boys section, Lotus Valley School defeated ShriRam Millenium School by 15-10.
In most absurd match of the day Greater Valley School defeated Somerville in a totally one sided affair by 27-1.
