TTSL-TN: logo, trophy unveiled

Table Tennis Super League-Tamil Nadu (TTSL-TN), organised by the Indusports Pvt. Ltd., under the auspices of the Tamil Nadu Table Tennis Association and 11Sports, will be held at the Forum Vijaya Mall here from November 24 to 26.
Actor Abhishek Bachchan and the British Deputy High Commissioner Bharat Joshi unveiled the logo and the trophy at the official launch of the event here on Thursday.
Nawabzada Muhammad Asif Ali, Dewan to the Prince of Arcot and Vita Dani, chairperson of 11Sports, unveiled the team jerseys.
The competition features eight teams, divided into two groups of four each.
There are six players to a team — one each for the men, women, cadet boys, junior boys and girls, and veterans categories.
Selection process
Team selection was done via a player auction conducted in the presence of the technical committee of TNTTA.
The teams will play each other once within the group, and the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals.
Each tie will have nine matches (best of three games).
The teams: Group A: Refex Avengers; Billroth Blasters; Mobie Chargers; Hindustan King Pongs.
Group B: Green Rockers; Maahee Warriors; La Black Thunders; Jeppiaar Smashers.
