TT Nationals kick starts in Jammu

The 81st UTT Junior and Youth Nationals Championship at the Indoor Hall of the MA Stadium, Jammu was declared opened by the Chief Guest, Farooq Khan, Advisor to the Lt Governor in the presence of Secretary Youth Services and Sports, Sarmad Hafeez, Director General, Youth Services & Sports, Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Secretary JK Sports Council, Dr Naseem Choudhary and other dignitaries.
Earlier, Farooq Khan also inaugurated New Indoor Sports Complex at MA Stadium which has been completed with the estimated cost of Rs 8.10 crore, against which Rs 560 lakh has been utilised under NISDFF and Rs 2.50 crore has been sanctioned under JKIDFC. Various games like tennis, judo, gymnastics, weightlifting, yoga, badminton, carom, chess fencing, Wushu, etc to be played in newly constructed sports complex.
