Diya Chitale of Maharashtra won a triple crown while Tamil Nadu’s S. Preyesh Raj kept a clean slate for the whole season on the last day of the 11Sports 79th Cadet and Sub-Junior National table tennis championships, which concluded at the SP Mukherjee Indoor Stadium on Tuesday.
The results: Cadet boys (U-12): Final: S. Preyesh Raj (TN) bt Havish Asrani (Mah) 11-8, 11-8, 9-11, 12-10, 11-2.
Cadet girls: Suhana Saini (Har) bt Pritha Vartikar (Mah) 9-11, 10-12, 11-4, 11-9, 11-3, 11-6.
Sub-junior boys (U-15): Final: H. Jeho (PSPBA) bt Dev Shroff (Mah) 11-5, 8-11, 11-9, 9-11, 11-4, 11-7.
Sub-junior girls: Final: Diya Chitale (Mah) bt Munmun Kundu (WB) 11-4, 11-5, 11-6, 11-5.
