St. Paul’s and Future Kids clinched the boys’ and girls’ titles of the Fr. M. Devasia memorial inter-school basketball championships that concluded at St. Patrick’s, Secunderabad.

In the finals, St. Paul’s (Hyderguda) subdued Future Kids (Nanakramguda) 57-45, while on the distaff side, Future Kids, also from the aforementioned campus, defeated Holy Family (Trimulgherry) 29-25.

The results (finals): Boys: St. Paul’s HS 57 (Nihal 23, Anthony 17, Majid 10) bt Future Kids 45 (Anish 14, Kalla 11, Adyan 9).

Girls: Future Kids 29 (Hitha 12, Navya 6, Pankudi 6) bt Holy Family 25 (Pooja 11, Kaveri 6) .

Good spell by K. Chandrasekhar (five for 38) helped Vijay Hanuman score a 24-run win over Visaka in the A-2 Division two-day league cricket championship.
