Team of Master Academy and Shri Ram School accredited U-17 Basketball Champions

Finals of the district level basketball tournament was played on Thursday. In the women category, Master Academy emerged as the winner of the final match. The team showcased great dribbling from the whole team and dominates the game easily against Pathways School with 36-18 scoreline.
In the men category Shree Ram School clinched the winning trophy against Airforce School. District Basketball Association offered the winning trophy to both the teams and wished them all luck for the future matches.
On the last day of the tournament total 28 teams from the district showcased their talent
The last day of the Basketball Championship proved to be a busy day for the tournament played at Sector-38 Tau Devi Lal Stadium . As per the reports from the hosts, total 14 matches were played in the duration of day with the crucial final match. All the quarter-final, semi-final and final matches of the tournament allowed 336 girls’ and boys’ to try out their luck in the tournament.
State’s team player list to be announced on 5th August
District’s Basketball Association Director Omveer has told us that the boys’ and the girls’ team for the state level tournament will be decided on 5th of the August. As per the officials, total 38 players will be selected to showcase their talent in state level tournament.
