Team Nimka grabs Kabaddi Championship trophy with clean win in final match against Mohana

Thursday proved to be a busy day for the Zonal Level Kabaddi Tournament played at the Rajkiya Vidhyalaya premises. In the semi-final match played yesterday, Nimika and Mohana reached the final match by winning their individual semi-final games.
The final match of the tournament favored Nimka team against the Mohana team and they lifted the championship trophy with flying colors. Total 27 teams from the region participated in the mega event and showcased spirit of different teams. The Director of District Kabaddi Dr. Sukhpal Singh informed that the first semifinal match for the day was played in between YMCA team and Nimka team, surpassing YMCA’s challenge, Nimka’s team attained their spot in the final with 13-6 score.
The second match offered chances for Mewla Maharajpur and Mohana team to enter the final stage matches, Mohana team proved to be a better side in the match and registered 14-07 scoreline. In the final match, Nimka attained domination on the game from the very start of the match. The team grabbed trophy at the end of the day with 24-11 difference.
