YoGems, in association with Gautambudh Nagar District Chess Association, organized Open Chess Championship at Raghav Global School where almost 150 students from Delhi NCR participated in Under 7, Under 9, Under 11 and Under 15 years category.
In Boys Under 7 years category, Rosh Jain of Apeejay School, Delhi stood first with 4 points. Vedant Menon of Ryan International School, Noida came second with 3 points and Vihaan Jain of Vishwa Bharti School came third with 3 points.
In Girls Under 7 years category, Aarini Bhandari of Presidium School, Noida came first with 3 points. Aadya Goel of Cambridge School came second with 2 points and Garvita Dhiraj of Cambridge School came third with 1.5 points.
In Boys Under 9 years category, Tashna Agrawal of Shiv Nadar School came first with 5 points. Shaurya Sisodia of Amity International School came second with 4.5 points. Arjun Maheswari of Manav Rachna International School came third with 4 points.
In Girls Under 9 years category, Guarangee Mehrotra of JBM Global School came first with 3.5 points. Etasha Agrawal of St. Francis School, Ghaziabad came second with 3 points. Divaa Agrawal of St. Francis School, Ghaziabad came third with 3 points.
In Boys Under 11 years category, Aditya Singh of Apeejay School, Noida stood first with 5 points. Yatharth Manglani of Shiv Nadar School came second with 4 points. Rishit Singh of Amity International School stood third with 4 points.
In Girls Under 11 years category, Priya Agrawal of Amity International School came first with 3 points. Ashwika Hans of Amity International School stood with second with 2 points. Paromiat Barua of Cambridge School, Noida with 2 points came third.
In Boys Under 15 years category, Vinayak Tripathy of Apeejay School Delhi came first with 4 points. Manan Garg of Gyanshree School Noida came second with 3 points. Keshav Maheswari of Delhi Public School Noida came third with 3 points.
In Girls Under 15 years category, Riya Tiwari of Gyanshree Public School Noida came first with 3 points. Priyamvada Mehrotra of JBM Global School came second with 2 points.
