Taekwondo & self-defence: GBN school bags best Team award

5th edition of GBN Inter-School Girls Taekwondo & Self-defence sports meet saw hosts clinching the Best Team trophy. This event was organised at Faridabad, Sector-21 located GBN School.
This sports meet was attended by almost 300 girls from various schools in & around Faridabad.
Gagan Singh attended the event as a Guest of honour. GBN school director Anita Sood insisted on the importance of sports in children’s personal health & safety.
Kick Boxing association’s member Sunil Rajput informed that in 4-6 old age category, U-24KG- Akshara Dhoundiyal won Gold and Vaishnavi had to settle for Silver. In Under-47KG Heenal Sharma won Gold and Monisha Singh Silver.
In Sub-Junior 9-11 age category; Rai Hoor won Gold, Irika Silver and Sneha won the Bronze.
In Under-26Kg weight category Rishika NIgam won Gold, Vaishnavi Raturi won Silver and Mehak Bhavya had to settle for Bronze medal.
Team Manav Rachna International School emerged as the Runner up in this competition.
