Table tennis competition on Nov 10, 11

The Ludhiana District Table Tennis Association (LDTTA) will organise the District Table Tennis Championship on November 10 and 11 at Shastri Hall near Guru Nanak Stadium here.
Fang Jenn Chiu, honorary secretary, LDTTA, said the competition would be held for for kids (U-10) born on or after January 1, 2009; cadet boys and girls (U-12) born on or after January 1, 2007; sub-junior boys and girls (U-15) born on or after January 1, 2004; junior boys and girls (U-18) born on or after January 1, 2001; youth boys and girls (U-21) born on or after January 1, 1998; men and women besides veterans (plus 39 and 49 years). Aspirants can register themselves by November 7. Participants have been advised to bring their age proof certificates along. Performance and points secured by a player in the Punjab Ranking Table Tennis Tournaments would be taken into consideration while selecting the district teams for the Punjab Inter-District and Open Punjab Table Tennis Championships, said Fang.
