Swimming: Samarth Khatana wins 50 meter freestyle

An Inter house swimming championship was held at GD Goenka School, Greater Noida’s Swarn Nagri. Students from class 3rd to 5th, both boys and girls participated in Freestyle, 50 meter and 25 meter Backstroke categories in this competition. Swimming coach Diksha Sharma told that in both boys Freestyle 50 meter and backstroke 25 meter category, Vivekanada’s Samarth Khatana won the title. Second position was secured by Radhakrishna’s Yuvraj.
Rahul Madyan came third in 50 meter freestyle and Vivekanand’s Arush Kapoor came third in 25 meter backstroke.
In girls event Avni Nagar of Teresa house came first in 50meter Freestyle, second position was gained by Ridhima Vijay and third position was secured by Sidhi Singh of Vivekanand house.
In 25 meter Backstroke Avni Nagar again claimed top position by outlasting Lavya Garg of Tagore house.
