Suraj of Dehradun district showcased remarkable spirit in Youth Olympics

Uttrakhand’s Suraj Panwar has showcased remarkable game and spirit in Argentina’s Youth Olympic. The local boy participated in the 5000m walk race and claimed overall second positioning amongst all the participants.
With this remarkable performance and qualification for the main rounds, the whole nation now expects medal from the young athletic.
On Thursday in the first set of the walk race round 18 years old Suraj figured out 20.23.00 minutes time to stand at the second spot. First spot winner Oscar Patin marks 20.12.69 minutes time to complete the race.
Suraj’s Coach Anoop Bisht informed that finishing with same or more better timing on 15th October will be a big challenge for Suraj.
