Sukirthan Arun, with seven points from seven games, and Sannah Manikandan (five points from six) clinched the under-7 titles in the Chennai district selection chess championship, organised by the Chennai District Chess Association, on Sunday.
Siddharth Sabharishankar and Trisha bagged the under-19 crowns.

Gowrishankar (70) and Shrinik (50) shone in Budding Star CA’s 67-win over PSBB Millennium in the final of the Sir Vivian Richards Trophy under-14 tournament at the Sarojini Varadappan school ground in Poonamallee.
