Sub Junior wrestling championship in J&K culminates

The second Sub-Junior and Cadet (boys and girls) Championship organised by the J&K Wrestling Association in collaboration with University of Jammu (JU), concluded at the Gymnasium Hall on the JU Campus, in Jammu, yesterday.
The winners of different weight groups were awarded the medals in the presence of Association General Secretary, Ajay Vaid, Treasurer, Raju Sharma, Dheeraj Sharma, Jai Bharat and Om Prakash.
The competition was supervised by Krishan Singh and Ravinder Kumar, both wrestling coaches.
Meanwhile, all the winner wrestlers have been selected for the 39th Boys Free Style, Greco Roman Style and 23rd Girls Sub-Junior (cadet) National Championship to be held at Patna in Bihar from January 25 to 28, a handout issued by the Association informed.
The Results:
BOYS: 51 kg: Surya Udhay Partap Singh, Ist and Sahil Kumar, 2nd. 55 kg: Harun Choudhary, Ist; Shubham Kumar, 2nd and Rohit Kumar, 3rd. 60 kg: Vishal Singh, Ist and Aman Dogra, 2nd. 65 kg: Aman Dogra, Ist and Harsh Dev Singh, 2nd. 71 kg: Shahid Omar, Ist and Gagan Singh, 2nd. 80 kg: Mohd Sahil, Ist. 92 kg: Sahil Sharma, Ist and Sourav Sharma, 2nd.
GIRLS: 43 kg: Sanjana Sharma, Ist. 49 kg: Shreeya Sharma, Ist. 53 kg: Maithili Kotwal, Ist. Krishan Singh and Ravinder Kumar (coach).
