Sub-Junior Basketball Championship; Day 2

Vivek High School boys registered a 32-16 win over Chitkara School on the second day of the Sub-Junior Basketball Championship in Ludhiana. Harnoor (eight points) was the top scorer for Vivek High, while Ajay managed two points for Chitkara.
In the second match of the day, St John’s High School rode on Aarenav Puri’s 13-point effort to beat St Xavier’s School 30 -19. Eklavya grabbed four points for St Xavier’s.
St Kabir School downed New Public School (NPS) 30-20. Daksh netted 10 points for St Kabir, while Gaurav (eight points) was the top scorer for NPS.
Abaar scored eight points to ensure a 16-10 win for Saupin’s School against St Peter’s School. Harjang shot four points for St Peter’s.
In the girls’ competition, Saupin’s School overcame Guru Nanak Public School (GNPS) 19-15. Afreen (12 points) was the lead scorer for Saupin’s School. For GNPS, Anwesna seven points.
In the last match of the day, Carmel Convent edged out Ashiana School 29-14. Prakriti scored eight points for Carmel Convent, while Jasleen (two points) managed two points for Ashiana School
