State karate championship: Team Kamrup honoured with ‘Best Team title’

Kamrup (Metro) bagged best team award in the 13th Edition of UKAA Sub Junior, Cadet, Junior and Senior State Karate Championship which concluded at KASA Indoor Stadium, Diphu, Assam. Kamrup (M) altogether won 139 medals including 52 gold, 39 Silver and 48 Bronze. Barpeta District, finished runners up, with 10 Medals including 8 gold, 1 Silver and 1 bronze while Jorhat District bagged the third spot in the medal Tally collecting 6 gold, 8 Silver and 11 bronze.
On the other hand, the best players awards have been received by Advik Majumdar and Kasturika Narzary ( Sub Junior boys / Girls), Saurav Gogoi and Ishita Kashyap (Cadet Make/ Female), Jyotirshma Kashyap and Enjebee Chakma (Junior Male/ Female) and Anwesha Kashyap (Senior Women).
