St. Joseph’s boys drub past St. Xavier by 8 wickets

The Molly Carver Memorial match in Chandigarh on Monday witnessed a one-sided affair between boys from St. Joseph School and St. Xavier School.
Chasing target of 117, Skipper Aaryan Verma of St Joseph’s School, Sector 44 hit a masterful 65 to guide his side towards an eight-wicket win against St Xavier’s School, Sector 44.
Batting first, St Xavier’s School made 116/9 in 25 overs. Khuspreet Singh scored 49 runs, while Himanshu and Yajat added 12 runs each to the total. In reply, St Joseph’s boys rode on Verma’s knock to achieve the target in 20.5 overs. Ishaan Gaba remained not out for 22.
