St. Joseph claims trophy after piping Eicher School

Aditya Sharma claimed 4/25 to help the hosts St Joseph’s School, Sector 44, beat Eicher Public School, Parwanoo, by one run and win the 13th St Joseph’s Sub-Junior Super League in Chandigarh.
Opting to bat first, St Joseph’s made 147/6 in the allotted 25 overs. Gursimran Singh made an unbeaten 31, while Timin Sharma added 21 runs to the hosts’ total. Sukhwinder Singh, Mithu and Ishan claimed one wicket each for Eicher School.
Defending a modest total, St Joseph’s attack led by Aditya Sharma bundled out the visitors for 146 runs to seal a narrow victory.
Aditya was well supported by Divyansh Lalotra (2/31) and Deepak Sharma (1/21).Ishaan Thakur made 55 runs, while Mithu contributed 33 runs to the chase.Gursimran was named Man of the Match, while Aditya Sharma was adjudged Man of the Series. Ishaan got the Best Batsman award. Lakshit was declared the Best Fielder, while Harshit received the Best Wicketkeeper trophy. Timin was named the Best Bowler.
