SSA thrash Amingaon HS by 10 wickets

Shrimanta Sankar Academy (SSA) outplayed Amingaon High School by 10 wickets in today’s match of the Md Abdul Ali Trophy All Assam Inter School Cricket tournament at the Latasil playground here.
In the low scoring match, in reply to Amingaon HS’d 58, SSA amassed 59 for no loss.
Brief scores: Amingaon 58 (Abhay Gope 18, Harshit Pratim 4/6, Kingshuk Roy 3/9). SSA 59 for no loss (Raihan Zaman 31, Aniket Medhi 18).
In another similar kind of match Assam handed Mizoram nine-wicket drubbing in a Group D match of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T 20 Tournament at the Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai today.
Mizoram were bundled for paltry 66 in 17.1 overs and in reply Assam took six overs to cross the opponents’ total losing opener Pallav Kumar Das who contributed 37. Abu Nechim Ahmed took three Mizo wickets giving away three runs while Riyan Parag bagged two for 11. Sarupam Purkayastha remained unbeaten on 27.
