SPCT crowned plate champs

Hosts SPCT ‘A’ thrived on their all-round display as they edged out Rajaram Vidhyavihar Cricket Club (RVCC) by seven wickets in the plate final of U-15 SPCT Cup Cricket Tournament that commenced at SPCT cricket ground on Wednesday.
Choosing to bat, RVCC posted a toal of 138 all out in 29 overs. Aditya Vyas top-scored (20-ball 23) for the team, Hitesh Rajputsinh added 20-ball 19 while Harshvardhan scored 26-ball 19.
For SPCT, Dhruvil Sharma, Manav Dharia and Risheen Agrawal picked two wickets each.
Returning ,the hosts managed to chase the total in 20 overs with seven wickets in hand as Shubhang Singh top-scored with a 67-ball 72. Risheen chipped in with a 27-ball 15 while Devratsinh Parmar added 11-ball 13.
For the losing side, Shailesh Yadav took a wicket.
The cup final will take place between Rising Star and Rising Star (Gandhi) on Friday.
