Softball: Telangana girls secure third place

Telangana girls bagged third place in the 37th Junior National Softball Championship held at TSWRS, Armoor on Monday. In the girl’s final, Maharashtra beat AP by 1 run to emerge champions.

Meanwhile AP boys team thrashed Chhattisgarh 4-0 and won the boys title. Punjab team secured the third place.

Results: Boy’s final: AP bt Chhattisgarh 4-0; Third place: Punjab.

Girl’s final: Maharashtra bt AP 8-7; Third place: Telangana
