SMVDU gets over with the International Inter-house Basketball Tournament

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra organized an Inter-House Basketball Tournament, Jal and Vayu houses emerged as winners in the men and women finals and lifted the respective trophies last evening.
A total of five houses competed against each other, the final battle was between Jal and Prithvi in the women’s category in which Jal came out victorious over Prithvi with a final score of 25-12.
The men’s final was played between Vayu and Aakash where Vayu emerged as winners with a score of 46-30.
These finals were officiated by Sumit Sharma and Balbir Singh.
The Basketball tournament of “Sarang 2k19” was coordinated by student coordinators Kartik and Muskaan Sharma.
The WInners were facilitated by Vice Chancellor prof. D Mukhopadhyay and Dean Student Welfare Dr. Yugal Khajuria and faculty members were also present during the facilitating ceremony.
