Shuttlers blazed campus in Army Public School

In the knock-out matches played in the Headquarter to Cops Inter Army Public School Badminton tournament Sanskar, Ashutosh and Pranay marks entry into the semi-final league matches. While talking about girls’ category Sapna, Varnika and Mehar emerged as the winners in the knock-out matches and marks entry to the semi-final matches participants lists.
On Wednesday all the knock-out matches were played in the multi-purpose hall of the parade ground of the Army Public School, Dehradun. The first match of the boys’ category matches favored Sanskar to win the match against Nandan Thapa with 21-15, 21-17 scoreline, Ashutosh in next match clinched an easy win against Gaurav with 21-18 and 21-12 scores, Pranay won match against Jatin with 21-16, 21-15 and Ayush dominated game against Nishant with 21-16 and 21-6 score to enter semi-final line-up.
Talking about the girls’ category matches, Sapna tops the table against Poonam with score 21-13, 21-11, Varnika won match against Shreyashi with 21-17 and 23-21, Mehar dominated game against Prerna Bharat with 21-2 and 21-6 score and Vidisha turned down Tarandeep’s challenge by 21-18 and 21-17 to enter semi-final stage games.
Doubles category matches showcased great enthusiasm amongst the spectators; Pranav with Poonam takes down Honey and Varnika in straight set games of 21-17 and 24-22, Sapna and Naman emerged as the better mixed up badminton pair than the Mayank and Prerna with 21-6, 21-12 score, Mehal with Prerna charges up the match against Ayush and Vidhya with 21-15 and 21-18.
All the winning teams and individual player from the different category will now showcase their talent in the semi-final matches.
