Shubman Gill new cricket star

Cricketer Shubman Gill was born on 8th September 1999 in Fazilka, Punjab. Shubman is a top-order, right-hand batsman from Punjab. His debut from Punjab was in 2017- 2018 for Ranji Trophy against Bengal. His batting is at the same level of Virat Kohli, Joe Root and Alastair Cook. He was a vice- captain of 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. HE is a constant feature in Rahul Dravid’s plans for the U-19 World Cup, he constantly played at an age-group level above his. In 2014, he smacked 351 in Punjab Inter-District Under-16 tournament, and shared a record opening stand of 587 with Nirmal Singh.
As of now Gill and Vijay Shankar the all-rounder was called by BCCI for India’s, Australia and New Zealand tours after KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya were ordered to return back home in disgrace over comments made about women on a TV show.

How it all starts
Shubman’s father Lakhwinder Singh wanted to become a cricketer but could not. So he decided that Shubman will become a cricketer. In beginning he ask his farm labour to ball Shubman, so that he get practice. He was so convinced of his talent that he moved the family to Mohali and rented a house near the PCA Stadium. Shubman was so passionate about cricket that he started playing from the age of 3 and he use to sleep with bat & ball.
