Shangrilla Public School shines in Rope Skipping C’ship

Students from Shangrilla Public School, Sarwal brought laurels to school and their parents by winning medals in first J&K UT Rope Skipping Championship held at Gymnasium Hall, University of Jammu from February 6 to 7, 2020. In all, 38 students from Shangrilla Public School participated and won 29 medals including 11 gold, 10 silver, eight bronze.
Krishna Bhagat, Radhika Sharma, Bhavishay Thakyal, Krish Kumar, Midush Gupta, Vikas Shrama, Dheeraj Karthal and Mridul Sharma won gold medals while silver medals were bagged by Palak Sharma, Kanishq Sharma, Devyansh Gupta, Krish Kumar, Tabrej Ansari, Vikas Sharma, Akarsh Tugnotia, Kritika Gupta, Sunidhi Gupta and Sukriti. Agrim Rakwal, Devanshu Sidha, Aditya Thakyal, Abhinandan, Ali Akbar, Tanvi Koul, Sukriti and Vikas Sharma bagged bronze medals. The team was trained by Danish Sharma School coach.
Sureshta Khajuria (Principal) and Goutam Thappa (Vice-Principal) congratulated all winners and coach for this achievement.
