Shagun wins gold medal in Karate Championship

Shagun has yet another time highlights the name of Ghaziabad region after claiming gold medal in the All India Independence Karate Cup Championship. Shagun has won the gold medal in the 48kg weight category event at the national-level.
Shagun settled for bronze in the previous edition of tournament played last year. In addition to this, the young fighter has won gold medal in U.P State Karate Championship played in Pilkhua. Student of 12th class in the Ch. Chhabil Dass Public School, Shagun credits big contribution of her father in her successful Karate journey.
In her interview, she has mentioned that she gained interest in learning the art of martial art after gaining positive response from the father. Shagun has also mentioned that her dream is to win gold medal for India at International platform.
