SD Academy secured a dominant win by 9 wickets against Saupin School

An unbeaten half-century by Harshit Suri helped SD Cricket Academy, Sector 24, register a nine-wicket win over Saupin’s School, Sector 32, in a 13th St Joseph’s Sub Junior Super League match in Chandigarh.
Chasing 138 runs for victory, SD Cricket Academy rode on Suri’s 82-run knock to reach home comfortably. His 80-ball stay in the middle was studded with eight boundaries and one six.
Aryan (1/11) claimed the lone wicket to fall in the SD Cricket Academy innings.
Earlier, batting first, Saupin’s School made 137/8 in the allotted 25 overs. Aryan (26), Meet Dahiya (14) and Gaurav (14) made useful contributions to the Saupin’s total.
Harnoor was the most effective bowler for SD Academy, claiming 3/14.
In the second match, Aditya Sharma smashed 94 off 66 balls to steer St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, to a 169-run win against Shivalik Public School, Mohali.
Opting to bat, St Joseph’s, powered by Sharma, scored 277/5 in 25 overs. Divyansh Lalotra complimented Sharma with a strokeful 72.
Needing to score just over 11.12 runs per over for victory, Shivalik boys could only manage 108/7 in 25 overs. Yuvraj made 18 runs, while Chitransh contributed 15 runs to the chase.Deepak Sharma picked 2/18 for St Joseph’s, while Tavish Gauba bagged 1/11.
