Saupin’s School-32 walk away with basketball title

Apaar Sood scored 20 points as Saupin’s School, Sector 32, defeated KBDAV, Sector 7, to win the boys’ U-14 inter-school basketball championship.
The Sector 32 outfit recorded a (42-23) win over the Sector 7 team in the title clash. Sagar remained the top performer for the losing side.
New Public School, Sector 18, claimed the third position by defeating St Kabir School, Sector 26. The winning team recorded a (50-35) win.
Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36, claimed the girls’ U-14 title by registering a (52-17) win over Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26. Khushi was the top performer for the Sector 36 team, whereas Mehar gathered maximum points for Strawberry School.
Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, registered a one-sided (24-00) win over Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 8, to claim the third position. Aasmi remained the top performer for the winners.
