Sahil Dora wins Snooker Championship

In fifth Uttrakhand snooker championship ranking 6-red Sahil Dora defeated Abhishek Rana 4-0 in final to win the tournament by a comfortable margin.
Tournament is being held in Bridge Snooker Academy. And in the first quarter final played on Sunday Sahil Dora won against Vivek Nautiyal 3-2, and in second match Haldwani’s Gautam Bisht defeated Shivam Madan from Vikasnagar 3-1 and reached the semi-finals easily.
The first Semi-final of the day was between Sahil Dora and Alok Taneja where Sahil Dora defeated Alok Taneja by 3-2 and in second Semi-Final Dehradun’s Abhishek Rana defeated Haldwani’s Gautam Bisht 3-2. The final resulted in the battle of Doon as both local players of the city Sahil Dora and Abhishek Rana clashed with each other but match didn’t live up to the hype as it resulted in one sided victory for Sahil Dora by 4-0. Saurabh Thapliyal gave trophies to winner and runner-up and wished them the best of luck for their future tournaments and competitions.
