RSB Chandigarh out of race of All- India Civil Services Table Tennis Tournament

On Thursday RSB Chandigarh lost both their men’s and women’s semifinals and out from All- India Civil Services Table Tennis Tournament at the Sector – 23 TT Hall. RSB Chandigarh lost men’s semifinal even without giving fight. Rohan lost to Chetan Ojha 1-3, Sunil lost to Jalay 0-3 and Piyush lost to Sikandar Joy. In final RSB Ahmedabad face RSB Hyderabad who registered a 3-1 win over RSB Kolkata.
In women’s semifinals RSB Chandigarh lost 0-3 to RSB Kolkata. Kalyani lost to Sayali Bose 1-3, Subha lost to Nabanita 0-3 and Gurwinder lost to Camblia 0-3. In the veteran women’s singles quarterfinals, Delhi’s Neeru Mehta blanked Minakhsi Yagni of Gujarat Secretariat 3-0, while N Sheela of SDAT, Tamil Nadu, packed off RSB Chandigarh’s Saroj Chaudhary 3-0.
