Royal Challengers Bangalore all but out of the Playoff race after they lose to Sunrisers Hyderabad by 5 runs

Royal Challengers Bangalore stumbled in the end to hand another home victory to Sunrisers Hyderabad, this time by 5 runs. Batting first, the hosts scored a below par 146 runs for the loss of all 10 wickets. In reply, RCB got off to a great start with captain Kohli making 29 runs and Grandhomme contributing with 33 runs.
But SRH’s bowling shone through once again. Shakib Al Hasan took 2 crucial wickets and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar produced an outstanding last over to ensure that SRH defended the low score.
