Ritika, Simran bag positions in debate

The English Literary Circle and the Department of English of JC DAV College, Dasuya, organised the first season of Dasuya Debate League (DDL-2018).
In the third round of the event today, the participants argued on the topic ‘Should local language be the medium of instruction at primary schools?”
The league provided students the confidence and ability to speak and an opportunity to improve thinking skills.
Addressing students, principal Dr Amardeep Gupta said such activities helped the students in gaining multifaceted knowledge.
Ritika and Simran grabbed the first and second positions respectively. Kirandeep and Anshuman bagged the third position. Dr Amandeep Rana, HoD, the Department of English, thanked the principal and participants for making the event successful. He said the event would be organised every year.
