Red Panda FC wins Summer Cup open football Tournament

Red Panda FC won the Summer Cup open football tournament held at Pipalay, West Sikkim defeating Nayabazaar FC 3-1 in the final today.
The winner and runners-up teams received cash prizes along with trophies. Hem Thapa was named Player of the Match and Arun Subba the Player of the Tournament, while Kunjaman Thapa was the highest scorer.
The tourney organised by Samajik Sadvawana Samiti, Pipalay had participation of 24 teams. EnerThe final hadgy & Power minister M.N. Sherpa as the chief guest. The minister, in his address, assured to fulfil public demand for installation of street lights from IRBn camp to Rothak at Pipalay.
The chief guest also handed over a letter of appreciation to footballer Dilliram Sanyasi from Bara Samsing.
