CricketRCB Go-Green Match against Rajasthan Royals

It is a well-known fact that the Royal Challengers Bangalore plays one match every year on its home ground in its Green Jersey. It is a partner of the Go-Green initiative which aims at reducing carbon emissions and plant trees for a healthier planet. The green jersey is symbolic of its objective towards a sustainable planet. This year the match would be played at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on the 15th April against the Rajasthan Royals.

The jersey is made of recycled plastic and dons the twitter handles of the respective players instead of their names. Nuvoco Vistas Corp Ltd, who are the principal partner of the team, will have their name attested at the back as well.

“We salute RCB’s sustainability approach of playing one game each season with a green jersey made of recycled plastic. Incidentally, Duraguard Cement is also available in Green bags.” Said the company spokesperson.
