Rain washes First Day of Lord’s Test Match

Rain drizzles in and around the famous Lord’s ground doesn’t allowed even the toss of the Second Test Match in between India and England. India is on the losing side of the assigned 5 test matches mark against the hosts England.
The nail-biting first test match of the bilateral series played at Edgbaston Ground favored the English team as they claimed 31 runs win against no.1 Test ranking team India in the debut test match.
Drizzles of rain at Lord’s Cricket Ground since the previous day of the test not even allowed both the teams to gain energy with warm-up before the match. The officials of the match even decided to start the match half an hour before the lunch but the second session was not possible due to the wet outfield.
Players from both the team Virat Kohli, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, A. Cook and Kitten Jenings spent most part of the day in the available facility of indoor net-practice.
